FAQ

What is Colour Analysis?

Colour Analysis is a method of determining the colours of clothing, makeup, and hair that harmonizes with a person's skin complexion, eye colour, and hair colour. It helps people to coordinate their clothing, hair, makeup, and accessories with greater ease.

Colour analysis helps people to find their most flattering and impactful versions of each colour in the spectrum.

Why Colour Analysis? â€‹

Have you ever tried something on and for some reason it felt like you looked washed out, sick, or like you were wearing a costume? Perhaps it was a lipstick that looked great on your friend and when you tried it on you were surprised at the result.

Maybe you have some pieces in your wardrobe that make you look dazzling and radiant and you get compliments every time you wear them. Maybe you have limited colours that you just love wearing but want to expand your palette to new options but aren't sure where to start.

Colour analysis can help guide you to your own personal palette that will reflect your best self!

Who is Colour Analysis For?

Everyone!

Colour analysis is for everyone regardless of race, gender or orientation. We work with the undertones in skin which are unique to every person.

Why Does Colour Analysis Need To Be In-Person?

Cameras today have built-in filters that modify our skin tones and create flattering tones, which can cause inaccurate results. White balance in photography, different facial expressions, lighting and digital filters can make online colour analysis unreliable and confusing.

When comparing swatches, there is a window of 2 seconds where our eyes adjust to the colour imbalances and that's where the magic happens! It's why all colour analysis must be done in-person for the most accurate results. Come for yourself and see with your own eyes!

How Much Does It Cost?

Colour Analysis can take up to 4 hours to complete. A full analysis including hair and cosmetic recommendations is $300. We also offer colour fans of different sizes to purchase as well!

Where do I park?

We have a parking lot behind the building on Front Street in Stalls 1-4. If those are unavailable, there is pay parking available on Front Street, Columbia Street, Anvil Centre Parking Lot, 4th Avenue Parking Lot, or New West Skytrain Station Parking Lot.
